You either love or loathe shopping for groceries; I happen to love it. But I never enter a grocery store hungry. It is completely dangerous and sabotaging to your health. Most grocery shopping is done on the weekends when grocery store management prey on your vulnerability. Many now allow vendors to display and offer free samples of their products, and you can literally eat lunch for free if you want. But please, although persuasive and appetizing, avoid the temptation…and here’s why:

1. Hygiene:

Have you ever seen an open and tempting basket of bread or chip samples on display, and witnessed a young child come by, using his entire hand, grab a bunch of them, often going back for more?

2. Calories

You don’t need them and you don’t want them.

3. Allergies:

So many products contain stabilizers, preservatives, and other food substances that may trigger an inflammatory response. Don’t risk entering a store feeling great and leaving with a headache, runny nose, or other untoward effect.

My grocery food tours will show you how to be an expert shopper, making healthier, creative choices that satisfy all your cravings. I’ll teach you to enjoy the task of shopping for food while learning to navigate the sabotaging grocery aisles. You will learn how to:

  • Prepare grocery lists just like the most famous chefs.
  • Read food labels like a “Pro”
  • Avoid certain products, food aisles, and (popular) but unhealthy food manufacturers
  • Determine which produce & meats are really fresh and ones that are ready for compost

I will teach you how to be confident, clever, and discerning when it comes to choosing the healthiest and tastiest foods that you and your family will enjoy. You will learn to:

  • Prepare a healthy shopping list
  • Stock your pantry with necessary but tasty supplies
  • Read and compare food labels
  • Accurately interpret product claims
  • Save money
